"Cru"-a musical project conceived and composed by Claudio da Silva-comes to life within a

purely acoustic and deliberately unpolished soundscape.

The album explores the concept of "rawness" in all it's dimensions: from the brutality and primordial

origins of the human condition to the precarious balance from which beauty blossoms.

The tracks invite the listener on a journey through a compositional world that blends dodecaphonic

techniques with European, Arab, and Mediterranean musical roots.

There is poetry in the sound of water droplets sizzling on a red-hot plate-sounds reflecting the

harshness of daily life, alongside spoken words that evoke a universal resonance.
