A small-town college gets turned upside down when it falls into the hands of the new owner, Gracie (Allen), through inheritance. Deciding that school is a bore, she hires vaudeville actors (including Bob Hope, George Burns, Martha Raye, Betty Grable, Jackie Coogan, and Robert Cummings) to teach the classes.
