James Tibbles is one of New Zealand's leading players of historic keyboards, having an active career as a soloist, accompanist, recording artist and conductor. The youthful organ compositions here were recorded on the Rozay organ, which is not only a rare surviving example of 17th century French organ keys, but Couperin himself certainly played on them.
