Dan Reeder's self-titled album is a funny, profane, absurdly profound folk and blues songs about everything from the Cuban Revolution to Reeder's shortcomings in the love department. This first recording is a work of minimalist genius. Reeder's no-frills guitar work and vocal perfomrance are so strightforward that you wonder why nobody has made music like this before.
