Product Notes
De Un Siglo Anterior is BUNBURY's new work, and it is undoubtedly a celebration of the passage of time, looking to the future with enthusiasm and a capacity for surprise. Recorded in the Desierto de los Leones (Mexico), it was produced by BUNBURY himself together with Ramón Gacías. They entered the studio in February 2025 with the intention of delving into the possibilities of the combinations of Latinity with other genres, opening up to the harmonic and rhythmic possibilities of their patterns and lyrics. In August of the same year, they returned to the studio to finish the mixes and once in Los Angeles, Tom Baker was in charge of the mastering. Songs such as "La Voz" and "Un Brindis al Sol" have already been advanced, and this album has an extraordinary repertoire of ten songs, where the musicians stand out for the richness of details in their interpretation. As BUNBURY himself says, "We wanted to create something that could only exist through the sensitivity of the musicians and the vulnerability of the voice"... "Let the music and it's performers be the true protagonists."
