Thanks to Styx's popularity and heavy video rotation on MTV, DeYoung had a US Top 10 hit with 1984's 'Desert Moon' with the album of the same name making the Billboard Top 30. Two years later, he followed that up with the album Back to the World. Beat Goes On.
