Javier is a powerful politician at the top of his game, a domineering power broker feared, awed, and envied by society. Despite his loving wife, doting family, and unimagined wealth, Javier is miserable as he feels forced to tell lies to stay on top. Struggling under the weight of his shame over the relationship with his much younger secret lover Gonzalo, they take a trip to the south of Chile to work things out.
