2010 collaboration between Troum (Germany) and Nadja (Canada). Dominium Visurgis is the result of what one would call a "dreamlike liaison." Combining their exceptional talents, post-industrial/experimental drone pioneers Troum and metal/doom duo Nadja (who name Troum as one of their early influences) have become something greater than the sum of their parts. These three extended collaboration tracks were recorded live in the studio during a spontaneous improvisation in April 2008 in Bremen, Germany. Using electric and acoustic guitars, bass, accordion and drum-machine, the musicians envelop the listener with powerful and melancholic drones that work in many micro- and macro-cosmic ways.
