Dolphin Records are pleased and proud to release "The Rare Auld Times - 50 Years, 50 Songs" from The Dublin City Ramblers. This 2CD anthology covers every phase of the group's prolific career with contributions from each line-up since the group was formed in 1970. It features all their chart successes including the original versions of The Rare Auld Times, The Ferryman, Raise The Roof, The Punch & Judy Man, and The Flight Of Earls. It also includes two more classics from the prolific pen of the late Pete St. John - Ringsend Rose and The Fields Of Athenry. This compilation is a veritable collection of best loved songs from the great treasury of Irish ballads. 50 great recordings including classics like Molly Malone, Whiskey In The Jar, The Parting Glass, Kevin Barry, and The Wild Rover. All tracks have been digitally remastered for this album.
