Having played an important part in the Norway jazz scene over the last 15 years, the Eivind Austad Trio now enters the international scene with their debut album Moving. An intrinsically American accent distinguishes the trio from other ensembles of their generation; Austad is influenced by gospel and R&B, with a lyrical and narrative style that reminds listeners of Keith Jarrett or Bill Evans.
