Product Notes
Elemental: Reimagine Wildfire takes you on a journey across the nation to better understand wildfire, prepare and become fire safe. The film opens with survivors who take you along on their harrowing escape from Paradise, California as the town ignited from wind-driven embers and burned within a few hours of the fire's start. The film presents real solutions that people can do to their homes and communities to prevent the destruction experienced in recent fires in Oregon, Colorado, California, Hawaii, Washington and the world through the voices of firefighters and Indigenous fire lighters, earth and climate experts. The film answers how we live with wildfire in an increasingly hotter, drier future. Narrated by David Oyelowo. Filmed over 6 years and directed by Trip Jennings, a winner dozens of awards for his films, including projects with National Geographic and PBS.
