The complete Warner Bros. Recordings (1960 - 1965)29 previously unissued performancesThe hardcover book contains many rare and previously unpublished picturesThe set contains their complete German and Italian recordings
The first in a series of two box sets covering the complete recorded works of the Everly Brothers from 1960 - 1972, this is the set Everly Brothers fans have been waiting for. Opening with their debut Warner Bros. Session from March '60, 'The Price Of Fame' chronologically collects every master made for the label up through November '65. The first box includes the entirety of such albums as 'It's Everly Time', 'A Date With The Everly Brothers', 'Both Sides Of An Evening', 'Instant Party', 'The Golden Hits Of The Everly Brothers', 'Christmas With The Everly Brothers And The Boys Town Choir', 'Sing Great Country Hits', 'The Very Best Of The Everly Brothers', 'Gone Gone Gone', 'Rock 'n Soul' and 'Beat 'n Soul'. Also among the set's 228 tracks are outtakes, rarities, foreign language singles and spoken word promos. In addition to the many hard-to-find tracks collected together here for the very first time, 29 previously unissued recordings make their debut on this set. The box is topped of by a mammoth hardbound book featuring a newly compiled day-by-day chronology of Everly Brothers' recording sessions, concerts, as well as radio and television appearances by noted Everly Brothers historian, Andrew Sandoval. The book is illustrated with hundreds of images (many of which are heretofore unseen) and a full discography featuring recording information and extensive personnel credits. Placed alongside Bear Family's 'Classic Everly Brothers' box (which collected the duo's Columbia and Cadence sides), this is the be-all-and-end-all for Everly Brothers enthusiasts.
