Product Notes
Four CD box set. Combining early classic 12" extended versions and remixes from the head-to-head chart wars of PWL and ZTT, along with rarer, less well-known tracks and mixes which must not be forgotten. From a time when a sampler and a re-edit meant the world was your oyster. Including classic versions from Simply Red, Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Duran Duran, Simple Minds, Culture Club, a-ha, ABC, The Human League and Sigue Sigue Sputnik, among many others. Featuring several tracks that appear on CD for first time along with tracks that are collectable on CD. All tracks have come direct from master tapes many of which are sourced for the first time. With a booklet that names the producers and remix engineers. Sequenced by project manager Jan Burnett to give a smart and interesting listening experience rather than a bog standard playlist. Look out for a stealth-like George Michael vocal, forgotten Chic samples and a Madonna.
