Description
Eyes Of Texas - After World War II, ranch owner Thad Cameron (Frances Ford) decides to turn his ranch into a home for the orphaned sons of U.S. soldiers. However, Thad's female lawyer, Hattie Walters (Nana Bryant) wants Thad's forturne and valuable ranch land for herself. She has already used her vicious gang of henchman to scare off or kill all the owners of the surrounding ranches, blaming any deaths on a pack of wolves who roam the area. When Thad is killed, U.S. Marshall Roy Rogers doesn't believe the official story about wolves killing Thad after he easily befriends and tames one of the wild dogs. It's up to Roy to stop Hattie and her gang before seh can snatch Thad's land by having a fake long-lost relative claim the ranch. Another of Roy's action-packed movies! Grand Canyon Trail, The - Crooked mining engineer Bill Regan (Livingston) is doing his best to convince everyone, including silver tycoon Vanderpool (Coleman) and a group of investor ranchers including Roy Rogers, that the Sintown silver mine is worthless. Vanderpool's secretary Carol Martin (Frazee) travels to Sintown to perform her own investigation, while Roy and his fellow ranchers do the same. Only old stage driver Ed Carruthers knows the true location of the silver mine. Lots of fights and action ensue in the battles between Regan's gang and the ranchers; Carol continually mistakes Roy as one of the bad guys.
