Latif Bolat presents devotional & folk songs from every walk of life & every region of his homeland, Turkey. He plays baglama (long-necked lute), piano, darbukka, bendir & vocals, joined by Emam, Habib Khan, Tom Chandler, Don Young, Amy Cyr, Alex Jenkins, Gary Haggerty & others. A few of the songs are performed in the "nihavend," "ussak" & "rast" modes. The album title is a Sufi greeting, especially prominent among the Bektashis. It reflects a sentiment of surrendering, accepting & acknowledging something that is presented by the Great Arranger.
