Figure Jams 001

The first release of Figure's new sub label series Figure Jams is a split EP by Fabrizio Lapiana and Amotik. The A side is taken up by a pair of Lapiana's irresistibly dense grooves that unmistakably tread in the footsteps of his homeland's highly emotional techno, unafraid of big melodies and injecting just the right amount of twisted acid. This sense of grandeur and space is also reflected in the work of fast-rising producer Amotik. Painting with his very own colors as an equally epic scenery, it's bleak and post-apocalyptic landscape is dominated by broken industrial beats and hypnotically swirling synths.
