Lars Ekstrom is a great Swedish vocalist, slightly in the Chet Baker tradition, and bass player. On this album he is joined by the Icelandic drummer Petur "Island" Estlund and the legendary Swedish piano player Esbjorn Svensson. Esbjorn died suddenly a few years ago in a diving accident at the height of his career so there is too little now left of his brilliant playing on records.
