The standout title track on Brenda Russell's 1988 album "Get Here" got a boost when Oleta Adams recorded it in 1990 and made it a bigger hit in Europe, most notably in the UK. The supremely talented Felicia Wilkins, currently the lead vocalist in the veteran Philly Soul outfit David Beasley's Ebonys, returns the favor with a deep soul version of her own that breathes new life into the time-honored classic. With legendary producer Butch Ingram at the helm with backing by the excellent Ingram Brothers band, Wilkins delivers the goods in exquisite fashion. Hi, Felicia!
