Lol Coxhill was an English free improvising saxophonist. He played the soprano saxophone. In the late 60s and early 70s, he was a member of Canterbury scene band Carol Grimes and then Kevin Ayers and the Whole World. Fred Frith is an English multi-instrumentalist, composer, and improvisor. Frith first came to attention as one of the founding members of the English avant-rock group Henry Cow.
