Garden Party went Top 40 in '72, Windfall charted in '74-and, though they came toward the end of Rick's charting career, they are two of his finest moments. He proves himself to be a rocker (and a country-rocker) of the highest order, backed by the Stone Canyon Band on his hits Garden Party and Palace Guard plus Let It Bring You Along; Legacy; Someone to Love, and more songs worthy of rediscovery.
