The musical performance of Mahler's 2nd Symphony is interactively interconnected with the visual interpretation of the piece. A legendary performance by the WDR Symphony Orchestra Köln and Karina Gauvin ans Yvonne naef as soloists. Conducted by Semyon Bychkov, the piece is combined with another legendary composer, Kurt Masur, who was conducting a famous New Year's concert from 2006 containing works by the great Italian opera composers and Mozart.
