The Uplook Records story starts in 1965 with Philadelphia talent scout and promoter Gene Lawson who had an office in the Shubert Building at 250 Broad Street. This collection of 21 tracks from the mid-late 60s showcases lesser known talent who were making waves locally in Philly at that time. Names like the Delgates of Soul, Charles Mintz, Little Tony Talent and a very young Teddy Pendergrass.
