The album marks his 40th year of making music. Gentleman of Music also features for the first time the choir specifically at the request of the appreciation society. Many James Last Classics are included "Games That Lovers Play" along with evergreen traditional Jigs, Reels, and Polkas and Last's interpretations of Lloyd Webber, Glenn Miller and the Beatles.
