As an aging L.A. theater gears up for it's big New Year's Eve concert, harried impresario Max Wolfe (Allen Garfield) has to deal with a beleaguered stage crew, an eccentric and demanding roster of acts, and a conniving rival (Ed Begley, Jr.) looking to job him out of his venue lease.
