Rune +fwerman is one of Sweden's top jazz piano players with several albums under his own name plus numerous recordings with international jazz names like Tony Scott, Herbie Mann and Toots Thieleman's. In 1978 he got the rather unusual idea to record a piano Trio album called "Glenn Miller Is Missing" and featuring songs connected with the legendary U.S. band leader who disappeared in December 1944 during a flight from England to France. Rune is joined by the outstanding Danish bass player Mads Vinding and the famous U.S. drummer Ed Thigpen. The result is an exceptional album.
