Grace Note the trio, composed of Bob Grubel on Keyboards and lead vocals, Tom Williams on acoustic guitar, lakota flute, and backup vocals and Martin Scudder on electric violin and backup vocals. This band played together from 1991 til 2005 in the mid Atlantic states. Their music soared in live performance and audiences remarked of how good they felt hearing this trio do it's thing. They would drop their instruments often and perform acappella pieces from a wide repetoire they had mastered. Performing often all original material mostly written by lead singer and keyboardist Bob Grubel, the band would sometimes get into long jams on some favorite songs of both audience and performer. One song, Live Inside A Body,on this CD, is a live sample of the band. I Always Dreamed of Flying, The One the Dream, The Dance, and Nightshades would dive into interesting new corners during performance. Martin Scudders violin work became signature for the bands sound as he drove his red Zetta in a blast of energy unmatched. Grace Note the duo of Bob and Tom continue to perform and write music. Bob's latest CD Dance When Your Soul Brings You Near is getting great reviews and has taken his song writing to another level. Martin's solo effort Wolf Run is also recieving high acclaim and serves a greater purpose in speaking of the challenges experienced in the lifetime of the wolf on this planet.
