Just as water reflects the face, so one human heart reflects another.' 'Through this profound proverb, my statement as an artist is conceived. To be able to demonstrate in a universally understood language the emotions that link US all is a powerful way to communicate, and in this album I attempt to present though a wide-ranging spectrum of color and sound this central ideal. Just as music is a universal language, so is emotion, and using music to wordlessly and directly convey these emotions - rather than the literal texts it sets - can touch US all poignantly in a way that overlooks our inherent diversity.' - Daniel Elder.
