DeDannan are one of the "founding fathers" of the Irish music revival that started 25 years ago. Their energy and musicianship live other Irish bands quivering in their boots. Band leader Frankie Gavin's flute and fiddle playing is considered by most to be the best in the genre. Their first studio album in several years, Rhapsody features "The Water Is Wide," "Humours of Lissadel & Jenny Picking Cockles," "Do It in Jig Time" and the title track.
