Product Notes
In How to Let Go of The World and Love All the Things Climate Can't Change, Oscar -nominated director Josh Fox (Gasland and Gasland Part II) investigates the global impact of climate change - arguably the greatest threat our world has ever faced. In his deeply personal style, with his trademark humor and banjo in hand, Josh travels to twelve countries on six continents and acknowledges that, while it may be too late to stop the worst consequences of climate change - including record drought, superstorms, and rising sea levels - there are places to find hope. Faced with data from scientists and testimonies from individuals in communities suffering from climate change today, the film asks, What is it that climate change can't destroy? What is so deep within us that no calamity can take it away? Searching for hope and answers in our damaged, rapidly changing world, Josh discovers that courage, resilience, and innovation are among the ideals that must survive; in fact, they are the very qualities that people in places like China, Africa, the Amazon, the Pacific and the U.S. are relying on in the ongoing fight to save our planet.
