VERDEN ALLEN is best known for his keyboard playing with one of rock music's most influential groups - MOTT THE HOOPLE - but this collection of solo tracks, including a previously unreleased recording by the Cheeks, his first post-Mott band and precursor to the Pretenders, shows the breadth and diversity of Verden's musical horizons, containing as it does, re-recorded and unreleased Mott material and contributions by Overend Watts, Dale Griffin, Kelvin Wilson, Martin Chambers and the late James Honeyman-Scott.
