Product Notes
After a couple of albums on Matador (the interesting and positively reviewed "The Infotainment Scam" and "Middle Class Revolt," for which Karl Burns rejoined the band), sales began to dwindle in the U.S. prompting a switch to Permanent in 1995 with the return of Smith's ex-wife Brix on "Cerebral Caustic." This live album, recorded at the Junction, in Cambridge on Oct. 24th, 1995, finds a completely revitalized new band which after more than 20 years is still capable of putting out amazing new studio albums as well as strong live performances. Track listing: 1. Idiot Joy Showland 2. The Chiselers 3. M5 4. Feeling Numb 5. Edinburgh Man 6. Don't Call Me Darling 7. Stay Away (Sic) 8. Behind the Counter 9. Glam Racket 10. The Coliseum.
