Clarinetist Paul "Bolo" Barnes was an unsung hero of New Orleans jazz, having played with King Oliver, Papa Celestin and Kid Thomas, but still relatively unknown. This recording was made when he toured Europe in 1973 at a concert in Milan, Italy featuring a local group backing him on these 10 tunes.
