Product Notes
Indian Rock 'n' Roll, 'Chief Whoopin' Koff' (Atomicat ACCD013) is the second of five albums in an 'Atomicat' series. The concept on this 'ATONICAT' album changes to looking at songs with Native-American titles for example; Carl Phillips, 'Wigwam Willie', Johnny Cash, 'Old Apache Squaw', the Davis Sisters, 'Kaw-Liga', Eddie Vinson, 'Big Chief Rain In The Face', Tommy Hawk 'Chief Sitting Bull', Link Wray and His Wraymen, 'Comanche', Bob Hoban and The Midniters, 'Indian Boogie', Ray Scott, 'Boppin' Wig Wam Willie' and Roy Hogshed laments, 'Too Many Chiefs And Not Enough Indians'. Most certainly we have enough Indians on this album! The informative sleeve notes look at the record labels the songs were issued on and give information on the location of the corresponding Native-American tribes from the state. You can read about the history of the Western Plaines. This 'Atomicat' album is compiled by well-known Dee Jay and face on the music scene Mark Armstrong, who has been Dee Jaying since his early teen years. Every album has; stunning design, sleeve notes, 28 songs, mastered for the best possible sound available. The disc is housed in an attractively designed cardboard sleeve, specially designed to avoid the use of plastic and be environmentally friendly. The albums are great to play at home and perfect for Dee Jays who within these CD albums will find good dance-floor filling songs.
