2018 holiday release from singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson. Songs for the Season was recorded with a full 35-piece symphony in hopes of capturing "the warm and nostalgic big band feel of the 40's and 50's." The 12-track album includes duets alongside Hamilton cast member Leslie Odom Jr, America's Got Talent season 11 winner Grace VanderWaal, indie-pop singer Christina Perri and Nashville actor Will Chase. The album includes a new holiday original written by Michaelson titled, "Happy, Happy Christmas."
