When a secret miniaturization experiment goes awry, test pilot Lt. Tuck Pendleton (Dennis Quaid) and his craft are accidentally injected into the body of nerdy grocery clerk Jack Putter (Martin Short). Now this "odd couple" must escape industrial spies, rescue Tuck's girlfriend (Meg Ryan), and restore him to normal size before it's too late.
