With this album, Italian Cellist Luigi Piovano and Pianist Aldo Orvieto pay homage to the late Korean composer Isang Yun and the tragic course of his life: "The events that marked Isang Yun's life emblematically show the miserable short-sightedness of the human being, unable to act authentically and with love towards others, in striving for a common good and reach a common spiritual elevation."
