I.Z Pinoy Politician was born in the Philippines and grew up in San Diego. The year 1995 was when he started writing music influenced by west coast rap. Soon after he found his style, he formed a rap group Sindrome. Due to personal differences within the group I.Z. parted ways, and their album was left unfinished. Determined to making music his career I.Z. continued to work on his craft and produced and wrote his solo debut album Tha Transition.
