Not long after releasing their previous work '#Tenorio', 45trio is already announcing a new release. This project was created as a tribute to Ahmad Jamal. Side-A '#Jamal' pays homage to Jamal's signature use of space and rhythmic breathing, while showcasing the captivating groove and meticulous musicianship unique to 45trio.

The piano, minimal yet rich in lingering resonance, the tight, funk-infused drums, and the jazzy, danceable bass together reinterpret Jamal's spirit through 45trio's own distinctive perspective.

On Side-B, the trio covers the legendary classic 'I Love Music', widely recognized as one of the most important sources in sampling history. With their own refined approach, 45trio carefully honors the deep love for melody that Jamal demonstrated throughout his life. As with their previous release, placing both an original composition and a cover on a single record serves as an intentional expression of respect toward Jamal. This powerful yet deeply heartfelt tribute stands as the result of 45trio's endless musical exploration and their gratitude toward the artists who have inspired them.
