Description
Steven Spielberg's 1975 thriller 'Jaws' remains a master class in suspense, a film so confident it teaches the audience how to be afraid. Set in the seaside town of Amity, the story follows police chief Martin Brody, a brainy oceanographer, and a grizzled shark hunter as they face a terror lurking just beneath the surface. Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw anchor the film with humanity and grit, while John Williams' score circles like a predator of it's own. Long before franchises were industrialized, this film invented the modern blockbuster. This deluxe three-disc set features extensive supplements and a bound booklet exploring the making of a classic.
