Joe Tex (1935-1982) was an American R&B and soul singer from Texas. Born Joseph Arrington Jr., he began his music career as a gospel singer in the 1950s, but soon transitioned to secular music and began recording for King Records in the early 1960s. As well as his success as a recording artist, Joe Tex was also a prolific songwriter, and penned hits for the likes of Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin and B.B. King. "Right Back To My Arms" is an exciting new compilation showcasing Joe Tex's recorded works from the King Records years.
