A student's father tries to buy the student body election for his son in "Junior Prom," creating the start of all sorts of havoc right before the big night. Jimmy's wealthy father wants to see the young man elected Student Body President, and tries to bribe the principal with the offer of buying new uniforms for the football team if Jimmy is elected, but the principled principal refuses. Jimmy's rival, Freddie, hears of the bribe and pulls out of the race in order for the team to get those uniforms.
