Kickstand boasts a truly impressive line-up of Jazz veterans, Trumpeter Art Davis, who played with Frank Sinatra and countless others, and by George Fludas whom Schwendener calls "one of the best Jazz drummers in the world". Schwendener's longtime collaborator Dan Delorenzo plays acoustic bass, and Bill Overton plays tenor saxophone. Together the players on Kickstand achieve music that is sophisticated, pleasing and fun.
