Krakatit is the name of an ultimate explosive, more powerful than an A-bomb, invented by a scientist named Prokop. He suffers from meningitis-induced hallucinations and accidentally gives the Krakatit formula to a colleague. Prokop is then coerced into helping the government finalize his formula, which their top scientists can't understand. Marly is beautiful as the royal princess who attempts to secure his help.
