The metamorphism of sounds featured in Let's Throw A Rockin' Soul Party Volume 04 is derived from rhythm & blues music with a "New Breed" influence from the up and coming stars of the genre. The change in the music was evident, strings and the Hammond organ were often added to the arrangements and the vocals were sweeter, and these performers were the infancy of Soul Music.
