Retired Navy Vet Franklin (Frank Sean Johnson) has lost his faith in the world and God. After a series of what seems like a lifetime of ups and downs, he decides to take his life. Through what can only be described as divine intervention, Franklin meets Doc Light (Jennifer Iky Rothwell), an offbeat psychologist who will try to convince him through a series of flashbacks that God has always been with him - even in his darkest hours. Hip-hop legend Ed Special Ed Archer reads The Parable of the Lost Sheep to set the film's tone.
