These albums date from 1971 and 1973 and were originally released on Polydor Records. Wray came to fame with his 1958 hit 'Rumble' with it's distinctive guitar sound. Wray recorded for a host of labels, searching for success, but really only finding critical acclaim and small sales. Wray's influence as a guitarist cannot be understated or undervalued as he progressed from rockabilly to surf, garage, swamp, country and then finally into hard rock
