Known for his sweet, soaring tenor vocals, Joe Val was a mainstay of the Boston bluegrass scene for several decades. In the '60's', Joe was a member of the legendary Charles River Valley Boys, whose album "Beatle Country" pioneered progressive bluegrass years ahead of it's time. With the New England Bluegrass Boys, Joe played very traditional bluegrass at it's best.
