David Olney has always been one of the other Nashville's most respected singer/songwriters, a man revered by the likes of Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Rodney Crowell and Steve Earle. Since Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt started including his material in their repertoire, he is widely recognized as one of America's most important tunesmiths.
