Featuring bassist Jeff Johnson, the rarely heard Northwest great Mr. Ford Ramsey on piano, and a couple of beautiful arrangements by trombonist Bill Reichenbach with an all-star L.A. big band, "Lucky..." is alternately swingin', whacky, poignant, and always very personal.
