"Animal Instinct" was the first solo offering by Luis Cardenas, who is the precocious drummer/singer/songwriter from American rock band Renegade. Cardenas penned and recorded most of the material for this solo project including remakes of Del Shannon's "Runaway" and The Raspberries' "Go All The Way". Spawning the hit singles and award winning music videos for Runaway and Hungry For Your Love, Animal Instinct topped the charts around the World and remains in the MTV closet classics library today.
